Our mission at Cat Expeditions is to provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences photographing wild cats ethically around the world. We pride ourselves on selecting the best locations, accommodations, and guides to create an incredible experience that goes beyond the photos you come home with. Most importantly, we ensure that our tours contribute to conservation efforts that protect the places and animals that we so deeply care about.

 

Cat Expeditions was started by expert wild cat photographer Sebastian Kennerknecht in an effort to share his passion with other photographers and the general public. His interest in smaller feline species, and the lack of existing tours for these lesser-known cats, encouraged him to develop one of a kind trips across five continents. A few years in, Rachel Tobias, his wife, joined the company and they now work together as a team. We are proud to be a pioneer in this arena, providing ethical photography tours for these incredible felines.
